WATERVILLE — Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area will offer facilitator training for its grieving children’s program, Hope’s Place. Training will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1 and 8; and from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 ,and Thursday, March 6.
Hope’s Place provides a safe, supportive environment for grieving children, teens and families through peer support groups led by trained volunteers, which nurture and encourage safe expression of grief and loss.
The 20-hour training will be taught by the staff and volunteers at the Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area’s community Center, 304 Main St. There will be a $30 processing fee for materials.
