SIDNEY —Bill and Donna Boutin, of Sidney, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jenna, of South Portland, to Jesse M. Adamo, of Portland, son of Tom and Karen Adamo, of Penobscot.

Jenna is a graduate of Messalonskee High School, and Clark University, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in political science. She is employed as a commercial underwriter by The Hanover Insurance Group in Portland.

Jesse is a graduate of George Stevens Academy, and Roger Williams University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, graphic design. He is currently a nursing student at Southern Maine Community College, where he will graduate in May.

An Aug. 31, 2014, wedding is planned.
