WATERVILLE — Nelson and Carol Sturtevant, of Waterville, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Rebekah Sturtevant, of Cocoa Beach, Fla., to Jeremy Jewers, also of Cocoa Beach, Fla., son of David and Janice Jewers, of Waterville.
Rebekah is a 2001 graduate of Waterville High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of South Florida, where she received a degree in journalism. She is an entrepreneur in Cocoa Beach.
Jeremy is a 1996 graduate of Waterville High School and a 1998 graduate of Kennebec Valley Technical College, where he received a degree in social services. He also is an entrepreneur in Cocoa Beach.
An Aug. 28, 2014, wedding is planned.
