Berkeley Almand, daughter of Sue Almand of Denver, Colo., and Amos Almand of Atlantic Beach, Fla., and Andrew Hunter, son of Bruce and Sandy Hunter, of Readfield, Maine, were married in Telluride, Colo., on Feb. 8, 2014, in an outdoor ceremony. The groom’s brother Steve was the officiate. Brother Eddie was the disc jockey at the celebration that followed.

The bride is a graduate of Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, Fla. She has bachelor and master of science degrees in mechanical engineering from Colorado School of Mines, and is currently completing a PhD in mechanical engineering at the University of Colorado – Boulder. The bridegroom is a graduate of Maranacook Community High School in Readfield. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in physics and is completing a PhD in physics at the University of Colorado – Boulder.

They met climbing boulders in the Rocky Mountains.

The couple lives in Louisville, Colo.
