In Richmond, Rose M. Beckwith garnered 198 votes and David D. Thompson 169 votes to win seats on the Board of Selectmen. Other candidates and their vote totals were Paul Adams, 159; O’Neil LaPlante, 149; Ryan R. Shea, 134; Frederic W. Browne, 117; and Michail Grizkewitsch, 71.

In the Mount Vernon contest for road commissioner, incumbent Jeff Kent topped challenger Lee Dunn 186-130 for the one-year post.
