Artists’ postcards sought for Harlow Gallery fundraiser

HALLOWELL — The Harlow Gallery invites artists to submit handmade postcards for a fundraising event and mini-exhibition called “Vacationland: Artist’s View.” Participants can submit up to three handmade postcards in any media. The postcards will be offered for sale during the July Member’s show for $20 each. All proceeds will benefit Harlow Gallery programming. To participate, artists should deliver up to three original 4×6 postcard(s) to the Gallery no later than 2 p.m. Monday, July 7. The Harlow Gallery is open noon-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

The exhibition will be displayed July 11–Aug. 2 with the Harlow Gallery’s Summer Members’ Show, with a potluck opening from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 11. Each artist is encouraged to bring a dish or beverage to share.
