WAYNE — Wayne Community Church will kick off its auction with an opening celebration from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at Lakeside Ladd House, 505 Main St.
The celebration will feature a live auction, catered refreshments and music. Tickets cost $10 per person.
Silent auction hours and bidding will also begin that day, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., at the Wayne Community Church Fellowship Hall. The silent auction will continue from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, July 4, and 9-6 p.m. Saturday, July 5. “Buy it now” prices will be available on most items.
The silent auction will end on Saturday, July 5, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a pulled pork barbecue supper. A vegetarian option will be available. The auction ends at 6 p.m. with items ready for pick up by 6:30 p.m.
Items include getaways in Rangeley, Camden and Vermont, an island cruise, sports memorabilia, items made in Wayne and more. Proceeds benefit local outreach programs. For tickets, call 685-3505.
