AUGUSTA — On Wednesday, July 2nd, at 6:00pm,

The Veayo Twins combine forces with singer/songwriter Carter Isaac to perform as a trio at the free ‘Waterfront Wednesday’ concert at 6 p.m. at Waterfront Park, Front Street. The pop/rock teen band is traveling throughout Maine and New England playing festivals along with being actively involved in promoting Bullying awareness at schools and special events.

Kristen and Katherine Veayo, 18, were nominated twice by The New England Music Awards as “Maine’s Best Band” for both 2013 and 2014 after crafting “A Game We Play,” an album that combines pop, rock, R&B and a little country with a message; An inspirational message targeting the pain and alienation that teens can face.

Special guest Carter Isaac, 16, also uses his past experiences to write music with a message and has signed a writer’s contract with Jim Mayer of the Jimmy Buffet band. Songwriter/guitarist Kristen Veayo, sings lead with a full-bodied delivery that suggest an old soul and her sister Katherine sings angelic harmonies while keeping the rhythm on drums or keys. Isaac also contributes a passionate lead vocal and an energetic style of piano playing. Fans can expect catchy original melodies with excellent vocal harmonies along with uniquely arranged versions of cover songs from “Top 40” style artists like One Republic, Christina Aguilera, Imagine Dragons, Lady Gaga, Karmin, Monsters of Men, and Taylor Swift to oldies like Bob Dylan and Tom Petty.
