NEW SHARON — A Chesterville man was taken to the hospital with a head injury after a rollover accident Wednesday afternoon.
At 3:30 p.m., police received a report that a driver, Eric Lowe, 52, had driven off Farmington Falls Road and crashed his car, according to Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols.
Lowe was driving by himself in the car heading east, Nichols said, when he either passed out or fell asleep, and his car went off the road, rolled into a bog and struck a culvert.
Nichols said Lowe was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington with a head injury.
