JEFFERSON

Oct. 22, a 13-year-old Jefferson boy was charged with terrorizing.

Saturday, a 2000 Volvo 70 being driven east on Waldoboro Road by a 58-year-old Bethel woman caught fire. The driver drove the car to the Jefferson Fire Station.

LITCHFIELD

Monday at 3:23 p.m., police responded to an altercation on Nadeau Drive. There were no injuries or charges. The incident remains under investigation.

MANCHESTER

Monday at 2:36 p.m., there was a report of road rage.

6:16 p.m., a car hit a deer on Ingraham Street.

MONMOUTH

Monday at 8:25 a.m., a 38-year-old Monmouth woman was charged with passing a stopped school bus by police responding to a complaint on Academy Road.

READFIELD

Tuesday at 7:30 a.m., a car hit a deer on Route 17.

SIDNEY

Monday at 7:09 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on West River Road.

SOMERVILLE

Friday police responded to a report of stolen copper piping from a home. The burglars also damaged wiring to the furnace and other plumbing. Police were called Sunday to a similar complaint inside a home for sale.

VASSALBORO

Monday at 6:07 p.m., a car hit a deer on U.S. Route 201.

WINTHROP

Monday at 10:33 a.m., there was an accident on Main Street.

2:12 p.m., there was a report of a traffic offense on U.S. Route 202.

ARRESTS

AUGUSTA

Monday at 8:51 a.m., John P. Stevens, 48, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant on Winthrop Street.

1:29 p.m., Jonathan Oxton, 21, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release on Bangor Street. A 20-year-old Augusta man was at the same time charged with marijuana possession.

7:04 p.m., Derek Paterson, 53, of Augusta, was arrested on a probation hold on Chapel Street.

11 p.m., Bobbie-Jo L. Rollins, 38, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release on Western Avenue.

GARDINER

Monday at 7:31 p.m., Robert Potter, 28, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of violating conditions of release on Spring Street.

8:10 p.m., Nicholas R. Hutchings, 29, of Skowhegan, was arrested on a warrant on Hillcrest Street.

Tuesday at 12:43 a.m., Robert A. Potter, 28, of Augusta, was arrested on a warrant on Spring Street.

JEFFERSON

Oct. 14, Regina C. Stewart, 28, of Jefferson, was arrested on charges of operating after suspension and violating conditions of release during a traffic stop on Augusta Road.

MONMOUTH

Monday at 2:31 p.m., Timothy Jack Meehl, 25, of Monmouth, was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop on Route 135. The driver, a 26-year-old Auburn man, was charged with operating after suspension.

WHITEFIELD

Oct. 21 Kimber T. Niles, 60, of Whitefield, was arrested on charges of domestic violence criminal mischief and operating under the influence on North Hunts Meadow Road.
