Police have arrested an 18-year-old Topsham man in connection with an armed robbery allegedly committed with his twin brother.

Brothers Matthew and Alexander Laurelez reportedly used a gun to rob a man they had arranged to meet at a town athletic field, according to police. Matthew Laurelez was arrested soon after the Nov. 22 incident, and police issued an arrest warrant for Alexander Laurelez. He was arrested Friday night at the Topsham police station without incident, according to a press release from the Topsham Police Department.

Both men were being held at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on armed robbery charges.
