HALLOWELL —Spectrum Generations Cohen Community Center seeks individuals and businesses to support its annual Meals on Wheels Christmas Ornament Project, according to a news release from Spectrum Generations.

Children from Manchester, Winthrop and Pittston schools, and members of Cox Memorial United Methodist Church and Bridges Adult DayBreak Program, have assisted in making ornaments to be delivered to Meals on Wheels recipients.

The program was selected by TD Bank on Western Avenue in Augusta as its December charity, where handmade ornaments and information about the project is on display and customers will be invited to sponsor an ornament.

Donations are welcome; $5 will cover a portion of the cost of a meal delivered with an ornament; $25 covers the cost of a week of meals; and $100 would provide meals for one homebound senior for a month.
