The deadline for registering dogs in Rome is Dec. 31, according to town officials.

Effective Jan. 1, there is an additional late fee of $25 per dog for licensing.

Town Office hours for dog licensing are Monday and Tuesday 2-6 p.m., Thursday 4-8 p.m., and 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month 9-11:30 a.m.
