DAMARISCOTTA —River Arts invites artists to submit work for its upcoming Celebrating Color exhibition. Submissions in any media, including sculpture and fine crafts, are welcome, according to a news release.
Submissions must be received by 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13. The opening reception is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, and the exhibit will run through Jan. 15, 2015.
John Lorence, of Newcastle, is the juror for the exhibition. He has had gallery representation in New York, Chicago, Milwaukee and recently exhibited at the Courthouse Gallery in Ellsworth.
