CANAAN — Nomination papers will be available Monday, Dec. 29, at the Town Office for the following positions: one selectmen/assessors, one-year term; five planning board members, two-year term; and one road commissioner, one-year term, according to a news release from the town clerk/registrar.
Nomination papers must be returned to the town clerk by Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, with not less then 25 and no more then 100 signatures.
The Canaan Municipal annual Town Meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Canaan Elementary School.
Municipal elections are set for 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015, for the positions listed above.
