John and Patty Schoen of Wilton have announced the engagement of their son, Machias William Schoen, to Breen Bridget Nolan. Breen is the daughter of Maureen M. Nolan, of Batavia, N.Y., and David and Carol Nolan, of Harwich, Mass.
After meeting in New York City in 2010, Breen and Machias traveled the west together before settling in Las Vegas, where Breen works as an accounts manager in the media business, and Machias works as a manager in the solar industry.

Though their interests are many and varied, their primary joy is in each other.
The two plan to marry in Las Vegas in spring 2015.
