WEST FARMINGTON — Farmington Grange 12 will present local herbalist Janet Edwards who will give a talk about “The History, Uses and the Growing of Lavender” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26.

Edwards, known as Mountain Mama of Maine, has spent 30 years growing and wild-gathering medicinal plants in western Maine. Her healing balms, salves, lotions and other herbal products are sold locally, at fairs and festivals and online for more than 17 years. She also is a regular featured speaker at the Common Ground Country Fair, according to a news release from the Grange.
