BROOKLINE, Mass. — Christine Reinders and Jeremy Caron have announced their engagement.

Christine is the daughter of Jeff Reinders, of Sioux City, Iowa, and Sue Griffith, of Fort Collins, Colo. Jeremy is the son of Kenneth and Mary Lou Caron, of Oakland, Maine.

Christine is a 2008 graduate of Boston University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. She also is a 2014 graduate of Boston Architectural College, where she received a masters degree in architecture. She is employed as a mechanical engineer and sustainability leader by CannonDesign, in Boston, Mass.

Jeremy is a 2004 graduate of the University of New England, where he received a bachelor of science degree in political science. He also is a 2014 graduate of Boston Architectural College, where he received a masters degree in sustainable design. He is employed as an energy project manager of the Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Boston.

A February 2016 wedding is planned in Boston, with receptions to follow in Maine and Iowa.
