WINSLOW — Mr. and Mrs. Roy Curtis celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 28, 2014, in the Thomas College Summit Room in Waterville.

Curtis and the former Thelma Dewley were married Dec. 28, 1964, in Fort Fairfield by the Rev. John Goodhert.

Mrs. Curtis is retired. She was self employed as a daycare provider in Winslow.

Curtis also is retired. He was employed by the state of Maine Department of Corrections.

They have three children, A. Roy Curtis II and his wife, Leah, of Belfast; Lois LaFlamme and her husband, Mike, of Winslow; and Laurie Gilliland, of Winslow; and five grandchildren, Courtney Carnes, of Buffalo, N.Y.; Tanner and Bryce Gilliland, both of Winslow; Zack LaFlamme, of Winslow; and Tigerlily Curtis, of Belfast.

Guests attended from Texas, Minnesota, Bangor and Freeport.
