Portland police are looking for three men who they say committed an armed home invasion robbery Thursday morning on Cumberland Avenue.

Police were called to 127 Cumberland Ave. at 9:45 a.m. after two residents reported being robbed at gunpoint.

The residents told police that three men forced their way into the apartment, restrained them and demanded money, police sad. One resident escaped, ran to a nearby business and called police.

The three men then fled down Anderson Street with cash. Police would not say how much.

The robbers may have left the area in a tan sport utility vehicle, witnesses told police.

Police have security footage of two of the men and the car they are believed to have used.
