Students, staff honor recognition award recipients
Erskine Academy students and staff attended a Renaissance Assembly April 10 to honor their peers with Renaissance Awards, according to a news release from the academy.
Recognition Awards were presented to the following students: Brock Glidden, Makayla Stevens, Amber Chesley, Jennifer Kochaver, Harrison Mosher, Phoebe Fleck, Theresa Gervais, Anthony Pizzo, Jake Peavey and Brady Grotton.
In addition to Recognition Awards, Senior of the Trimester Awards also were presented to four members of the senior class: James Poulin, son of Emily and Russell Poulin, of China; Sarah Jordan, daughter of Julia and Douglas Jordan, of Whitefield; Yao Xiao, son of Sarah and Tyler Watson, of Vassalboro; and Dan Rice, son of Cathy and Bob Rice, of Windsor. Seniors of the Trimester are recognized as individuals who have gone above and beyond in all aspects of their high school careers, according to the release.
In appreciation of their dedication and service to Erskine Academy, two Faculty of the Trimester awards also were presented to Erika Reay, mathematics instructor; and Brian Dutil, academic assistance and math lab instructor.
