WINSLOW — Ervin and Audrey Tyler, of Winslow, celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary on April 12, 2015, with a small gathering of family and friends. A second anniversary surprise party was given to them by their McDonald’s friends. Tyler married the former Audrey Witham on April 12, 1941, in Albion.

Mrs. Tyler retired in 1994. She was employed by Mid-Maine Medical Center, Seton Unit, Waterville.

Tyler retired in 1983. He was employed by Scott Paper Co., in Winslow.

The couple have two daughters, Bonnie Tyler, of Connecticut, and the late Nancy Tyler McCutcheon, formerly of Benton. They have a son-in-law, Harold McCutcheon; two grandchildren, Mark McCutcheon and his wife, Laurie, and Micheal McCutcheon and his wife, Deanna; three great-grandchildren, Justin McCutcheon and his wife, Sara, Kristi and her husband Dana Francey, and Ian McCutcheon; and a great-great-granddaughter, Madeline “Maddie” Francey. They are also thankful for nephews, nieces, cousins and numerous friends.

Out-of-town guests attended from Connecticut, South Portland, Glenburn, Winthrop, China, Oakland and Searsport.
