WESTBROOK — Kasey Sinclair, daughter of David and Bonny Folsom, of Skowhegan, a member of the graduating class of 2015 at the University of New England College of Pharmacy, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Pharmacy at commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 16, at the Cross Insurance Arena.
UNE graduated 99 pharmacists at the ceremony, according to a news release from the college. On the following day, the pharmacists received their hoods — the most symbolic part of the academic regalia at a separate hooding ceremony at Westbrook Performing Arts Center. The Hooding Address was delivered by Thomas E. Menighan, executive vice president and chief executive officer of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).
Dr. Sinclair will be employed by Walmart Pharmacy in Bangor.
