Maine’s spring turkey hunt has wrapped up for 2015.

The hunt ended Saturday throughout the state. Hunters are allowed to take only bearded wild turkeys during the spring hunt.

During the spring hunt, hunters in 22 wildlife management districts around the state can harvest up to two turkeys. Turkey hunters are limited to only one bird in seven wildlife management districts in the far northern and western parts of the state. Those hunters can take a second turkey from elsewhere in the state.

A fall turkey hunt begins Oct. 1.
