Central Maine Power company cut power to parts of Oakland and Waterville from for about an hour Tuesday afternoon as the utility fixed a broke insulator at a substation.

The outaged will affected 117 customers on and near Rice Rips and Mayflower Heights roads in Oakland and Marston and County roads in Waterville, according to the company. It lasted about an hour.
