H.O.G. motorcycle parade set for Saturday

SKOWHEGAN — Members of the Roarin’ 20th homecoming H.O.G. Rally will form a parade at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25, from the Skowhegan State Fairgrounds, through Norridgewock and back to the municipal parking lot, where festivities will continue with a meet and greet bike show.

Parade line up will begin at 11 a.m. at the fairgrounds. The parade will begin at the fairgrounds, proceed down Madison Avene, cross the bridges to West Front Street where they will continue to Norridgewock. From there they will ride through downtown Norridgewock turning down River Road and return to Skowhegan. The Parade is expected to end by noon in the municipal parking lot behind the Chamber building.

Following the parade, H.O.G. members will put on a meet and greet bike show, in the parking lot. The bike show runs from noon to 2 p.m. and is open to the public.

“We are very excited for this parade — over 300 bikers are going to be lined up making the route from the Fairgrounds to Norridgewock and back, this is definitely going to be something you don’t want to miss. It’s going to be very cool,” Skowhegan Chamber Executive Director Cory King said in a news release from the chamber.
