Arrests

Thursday at 2:27 p.m., shoplifting was reported on Western Avenue. Jenny Marie Cake, 38, of Augusta, was arrested and charged with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Thursday at 12:01 p.m., Shawn Maxfield, 32, of St. David, was arrested on a warrant at the VA Maine Healthcare System police department.
