Wainwright and The Wild Root to perform Aug. 2

Blues musician Victor Wainwright and The Wild Roots will perform their raucous, high octane boogie-woogie blues from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, in the 1827 Barn at the Mountain Village Farm B&B, 164 Main St., Kingfield.

Tickets cost $12 and are available at Pines Market in Eustis, Fotters Market in Stratton, Trantens Market, and Rolling Fatties in Kingfied and at the Regional Information Center in Carrabassett Valley or reserve by calling 265-2030. Camping, southern barbecue and more will be available on site.
