AUGUSTA — This year United Volunteers of Maine’s Haunted House is at the old Circuit City building at the Marketplace at Augusta (next to Dick’s Sporting Goods). They will be open each night starting Friday, Oct. 9, and will continue Oct. 16, 17, 23-25, 28-31. Cost is $10 per person.

This year’s event will benefit groups such as the Richmond Boy Scouts, the South End Teen Center of Waterville and others. Nonprofit or not-for profit groups that wish to help UVM and raise funds at the same time can email Unitedvolunteersofmaine@yahoo.com.
