Sidney Historical Society plans to meet
SIDNEY — Sidney Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Sidney Grange on Middle Road.
Peggy O’Kane will present “Bringing the Past to the Future.” She has been a librarian for more than 30 years. She serves as coordinator of Digital Projects for the Maine State Library. Her presentation will cover ways that individuals and cultural organizations such as the Sidney Historical Society can become involved in preserving documentary history.
Refreshments will be served.
