Candidates running for mayor, City Council, school board and charter commission in Hallowell have been invited to participate in a public forum set for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.

The only contested race on the Nov. 3 ballot is for the City Council seat representing Ward 4, where Diano Circo is running against Andrea Renee Mooney. Those in uncontested races include Mayor Mark Walker, who is seeking re-election; council candidates George Lapointe (at large) and Sophie Gabrion (Ward 2); Regional School Unit 2 board candidate Jill Katrina Randall; and Charter Commission candidates Maureen AuCoin, Christy Cross, Richard Dolby and Robert McIntire.

The forum will be moderated by Rep. Charlotte Warren, D-Hallowell, a former mayor. Candidates will be asked to talk about their goals and will answer questions from the public.
