WEST FARMINGTON — Titcomb Mountain will host its second annual Pass Blast 5K Trail Run/Hike at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, registration will begin at 8 a.m. The Pass Blast will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday is also a volunteer work day as organizers get ready for the season.

This 5K is for all levels, and the $10 entry fee goes towards scholarships for children who want to participate in Titcomb’s winter ski and snowboard programs. If

At the Pass Blast there will be membership applications, a $50 deposit per membership secures the low price, and there will be information on Titcomb programs.

The Club, owned and operated ski and snowboard area, relies on the members and community volunteering. On Pass Blast day volunteers will be painting, cutting brush, and getting the firewood ready.

Other events the Farmington Ski Club/Titcomb Mountain will hold are the new and used equipment sale set for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 7, with consignment drop off from 5 to 8 p.m. Nov.6; the Holiday Auction planned for 6 p.m. Dec. 4;and the Opening Day Pancake Breakfast on Dec. 19.
