A Maine hunter reported missing in Alton has been found by the Maine Warden Service, WCSH reports.

Robert Vadas, 79, of Orono is being evaluated by medical personnel and will be transported to a hospital.

Vadas was reported missing around 2 p.m. Thursday. Lt. Dan Scott of the Maine Warden Service said Vadas had gone hunting in Alton and failed to return to meet his friend.

Game Wardens used an aircraft, K-9 teams and other resources to try and locate him Thursday night.
