GARDINER — Johnson Hall will present “The Leftover Turkey Variety Show,” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 27 and 28.

In the 1980s Benny & Denise Reehl, of the New England New Vaudeville Review, started an annual post Thanksgiving tradition by creating a wild variety show. Knowing families would come together and feast on food the day before, Benny and Denise created a variety show that was a feast of comedy that the whole family could enjoy. Johnson Hall is carrying on this tradition by pulling together performers from all over the state to showcase the many talents of Maine’s physical, verbal and musical comics.

This year’s shows will feature tMichael Trautman (aka King Pong), Joel Eckhaus (aka Ukulele Eck), character comic Mike Miclon, internationally known juggler Michael Menes, world-class magician, Leland Faulkner, the comedic music of Oren Robinson and April Reed-Cox and many more.

Tickets cost $16 for adults and $14 for seniors and children and can be purchased in advance by calling 582-7144 betwwen noon and 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, or visit www.johnsonhall.org.
