GREENVILLE, S.C. — Kate Brokaw, of Waterville, was named to the 2015 fall semester dean’s list at Furman University. She is the daughter of Jo-Anne Brokaw and Timothy Brokaw, of Waterville.

Furman’s dean’s list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade-point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system.

Furman is a private, undergraduate liberal arts college of 2,600 students in Greenville, South Carolina. Widely recognized for its rigorous academic program and strong faculty, the university has a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and ranks among the nation’s top colleges in the number of National Merit Scholars enrolled.
