Whole Foods issued a recall Monday for nearly 74,000 pounds of pepperoni pizza because of a labeling error.

The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service said in a news release Monday night that Whole Foods and North Atlantic Kitchens of Everett, Massachusetts, labeled pizza as containing uncured beef pepperoni. The pizza instead contained uncured pork pepperoni. Some people have a sensitivity or intolerance to pork.

The pizza was produced between Jan. 5, 2015, and Jan. 22, 2016. The recall applies only to 10- and 19-ounce vacuum-sealed packages of Whole Foods Markets Pizza. They were sold at Whole Foods stores in seven states, including Maine. Whole Foods has a store on Somerset Street in Portland.

There have been no reports of adverse reactions, and the USDA says the health risk is very low.
