Sing ’til Spring!, a family concert and sing-along led by dynamic, spirited singers, song writers and guitarists Martin Swinger and Matt Loosigian, is set for 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Emery Arts Center, University of Maine at Farmington.

Sponsored by the Arts Institute of Western Maine, this family show brings an inter-generational audience along for a wild ride with call and response songs, participation and sing-alongs that can engage listeners in the good old-fashioned fun of singing together. Old and original songs — you never know what to expect next and it’s always something special! Songs included are: “Earthworm Dance,” “Hungry for the Sun,” “Do not bottle me,” and sing-along favorites like “Coming Round the Mountain.”

Martin Swinger has received many awards and delighted audiences of all ages for many years. Matt Loosigian, founder of Earth Jams, has been touring and teaching children for six years and excels in writing songs about ecology and “being green.”

There will be refreshments, plus a surprise for children.

Admission cost $10 for adults and is free for children 18 and younger and students with ID.
