ORANGE, Conn. — The following local students were named to the 2015 fall semester dean’s list at the University of New Haven.

John Houllahan, of Mercer, is studying criminal justice; and Josalyne Beringer, of Waterville, is studying forensic science.

Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.50 or better cumulative grade-point average for the semester to be eligible for the dean’s list.

The University of New Haven is a private, top-tier comprehensive institution recognized as a national leader in experiential education. Founded in 1920 the University enrolls approximately 1,800 graduate students and more than 4,600 undergraduates.
