Two teenagers were arrested Saturday and charged with heroin dealing in Saco, police said.

Zachary Adams, 19, of Saco and Cole Goulet, 19, of Biddeford were each charged with a count of aggravated trafficking in heroin after buying the heroin in Massachusetts and returning to Maine to sell it in the Biddeford and Saco area, police said.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said the arrests followed an investigation by agents from the York District Task Force into suspected drug trafficking from a room at the Sunrise Motel on Route 1 in Saco. The agency said several people were routinely traveling to Haverhill, Massachusetts, from Maine to buy bulk heroin that they brought back to the Sunrise Motel, where it was repackaged and sold in individual doses.

Agents arrested Adams and Goulet on the Maine Turnpike in York about 10 p.m. Saturday as they returned to Maine. Police said they found 30 grams of heroin worth $5,000 and $1,100 in cash in their vehicle.

Adams and Goulet were taken to the York County Jail, where bail was set at $10,000 each.
