Augusta Food Bank is on the ballot for Community Matter More campaign.

Bangor Savings Bank will give away $100,000 to 68 local nonprofits as part of its Community Matters More campaign. Participants vote for nonprofit organizations, the organization with the most votes will win $5,000.

“This is the friendliest sort of competition. All of the listed nonprofits are worthy of your vote, but we can tell you that $5,000 will put a lot of meals on a lot of plates.” Sarah Miller, director of the Augusta Food Bank, said in a news release.

Other organizations in Kennebec and Somerset counties listed on the ballot are: Aliza Jean Family Cancer Foundation, Augusta Boys & Girls Club, Friends of LC Bates Museum, Somerset Woods Trustees and Waterville Creates!; write-ins are acceptable.

To cast a vote, visit www.bangor.com/cmm. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29.
