The Red Sox stretched out the ninth inning, boosting their run total by 5 to beat the Atlanta Braves 11-4 Tuesday night. Travis Shaw got things started in the first inning with a three-run homer that scored Jackie Bradley Jr. and Dustin Pedroia ahead of him. David Price was the winning pitcher.
