The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a Woolwich man who has not been seen since May 23.

Benjamin Fisher, 20, left his home on Tallman Road on May 23 but never showed up for work at the Staples office supply store in Brunswick. Fisher has a medical condition that requires routine attention, according to a press release from Sheriff Joel Merry.

Merry said Fisher was seen on May 23 at a home on Ward Road in Brunswick. Police believe he may have been headed to Portland. He does not have a vehicle or a driver’s license, and his cellphone has been turned off since May 24. “There is definite concern for his safety and well being,” Merry wrote in an email.

His name and other information has been entered into the national missing person’s information system, Merry said.
