WATERVILLE — Jenna Petrovic had a home run, a single, two RBIs and scored three runs to spark Winslow past Oceanside 14-10 to win the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B softball title Saturday at Thomas College.
Kiana Richards added a triple, two singles and two RBIs for Winslow (16-1) while Hillary Libby had two singles, a triple and an RBI. Winslow enters the Class B North tournament as the No. 3 seed and will host the winner of the Gardiner/Ellsworth game in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
Oceanside (16-1) was led by Ari Curtis with two singles and an RBI, Alexis Mazurek with a triple and two RBIs and Brianna Dugan, who had a single, an RBI and scored three runs. The Mariners are seeded second in Class B North and will host the winner of the Mount View/Erskine game in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
