DAMARISCOTTA — Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center will host Coffee with a Cop at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, with Damariscotta Police Chief Ron Young and Lincoln County Sheriff Todd Brackett as the center observes World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2016. They will discuss issues surrounding elder abuse that impact all of Lincoln County’s citizens.

The program brings police officers, law enforcement professionals and the community members they serve together over coffee (or tea) to discuss issues and to learn more about each other. It’s about building relationships, creating community and conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
