Winslow Public Library will host a temporary Treasures from Our Attics: A Pop-up Local History Museum on Friday, June 17, as part of the second annual Fort Halifax Days celebration. Those who have objects of local historical interest, are welcome to bring them to the library that day. They will be displayed from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting rooms.

Some of the objects to be exhibited are an 1860 wedding dress worn at a wedding in Winslow, an old mail box that was carried by horse-drawn wagon to deliver Winslow mail, and memorabilia from the paper mill.

For more information, call the library at 872-1978 or email [email protected].
