Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce presented students with awards who held perfect attendance at Albert S. Hall School through the 2015-16 school year. This year 26 students in the fourth and fifth grades had perfect attendance. The assembly was held June 13.
Fourth graders that received awards were: Travis Buckner, Alyssa Curry, Gabriela Garcia-Pollis, Aurora Hurst, Kirk Mullen, Tristan Parkhill, Emiko Peck, Gillian Poulin, Matthew Thorpe, Nevaeh Wing and Madison Yakimchick.
Fifth graders that received awards were: Adam Cullen, Haley Dunn, Kassidy Gordon, Finnian Kelly, Naomi McGadney, Bailie Mullen, John Nawfel, Nicholas Poulin, Alexander Snipe, April Snow, Alexander Spaulding, Logan Tardif, Adam Thibodeau, James Trenholm and Karin Zimba.
Haley Dunn, Alexander Snipe, and Adam Thibodeau completed their second consecutive year with perfect attendance. Each of these three students were given a week at summer camp at the Alfond Youth Center.
All of the items that were given to the students were donated by Alfond Youth Center, Are You Ready to Party??, Bangor Savings Bank, Benton Family Fun Park, Best Western Plus in Waterville, Caswell’s Liquidation Center, Children’s Book Cellar, Eric’s Restaurant, Inland Hospital, Johnny’s Selected Seeds, Kennebec Savings Bank, Kennebec Valley Community College, MaineGeneral Medical Center, McDonald’s, Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce, Spellbound, Sukee Arena, Thomas College, Waterville Parks & Recreation, Waterville Public Library, and Waterville Rotary Club.
To have perfect attendance each student must not be tardy, have no unexcused or excused absences, and not have been dismissed early.
