A vigil to honor the victims of the Orlando, Florida, terrorist attack is scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park in Fairfield.

Organizers said participants may bring candles, chairs and food, but no alcohol or illegal substances are allowed.

Beverly Busque will sing the national anthem and anyone may read a poem, sing a song or speak. If attendees bring food to eat, they are asked to dispose of refuse properly.
