SKOWHEGAN — Recycled Shakespeare Company will perform Shakespeare at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Coburn Park’s amphitheater.
The afternoon will include of scenes, sonnets and songs from Shakespeare’s works.
RSC cast members will provide quick changes between famous works as “Romeo and Juliet,” “Macbeth,” “Hamlet,” “As You Like It,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and many other plays, acted in reader theater style. The audience can hear songs written by Shakespeare and some of the world’s most beautiful sonnets.
Shakespeare Sampler is arranged and directed by RSC producer, Emily Rowden Fournier.
Bring a chair or blanket and perhaps a picnic basket to this free, family-friendly production.
