The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will present Tim and Sarah Macek and Friends: A Chamber Music Concert, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St., in Rangeley.
Professional violinists and Rangeley seasonal residents Tim and Sarah Macek join fellow musicians from Washington DC and New York in this chamber music performance. On the program are works by Mozart, Beethoven, Kreisler, Rubinoff, Osborne, Milhaud and Shostakovich. The Maceks are natives of the Washington, DC area and perform regularly at the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap Park for the Performing Arts and many other DC area musical venues. They will be performing with two colleagues and friends who will be visiting with them in Rangeley: Morrie Sherry, clarinet and Gaylien Chun, piano.
Admission cost $15 for adults, and $10 for those 18 and younger.
