Sabattus American Legion Harry J. Conway Post 135 will conduct a Blue Star Service Banner Presentation Ceremony at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at Post 135 at 40 Island Road in Sabattus. A reception with refreshments will follow.

The Blue Star represents one family member currently serving on active duty, and a banner can have up to five stars.

Blue Star banners will be presented to a member of the immediate family from Sabattus, and surrounding communities not served by local Legion Halls, who wish to receive this presentation.

The program information and application can be picked up at Post 135, Sabattus establishments and the Town Hall. All requests should be postmarked no later than Nov. 7 and should be mailed to Sabattus American Legion, P.O. Box 392, Sabattus, ME 04280.
